A few of us recently received brand new/sealed copies of the OOS Cowboys & Aliens steel from HMV after it appeared back on their site for a very short time, so like us, you may get lucky buddy.

They had a single copy in a local HMV recently. As the film was pretty lame I didn't see the point in spending £25 on the steel... but it *is* a nice looking/feeling bit of metal.

Thanks, I also had back orders on Cowboys & Aliens around the same time. Funny thing is though, as they were both back ordered at the same time, what justifies the Captain America order staying live against my Cowboys & Aliens order being deleted just over a weeks ago? especially according to what 'Thedefector' saw recently it looks like they could have sent? annoying.

My longstanding order went live again with whatever returned in-store stock caused the revival last week; but HMV had a problem with my card... by the time they'd sent me an email and I was able to respond (having to call them during UK working hours when you're in Australia means an anxious day waiting) they were out of stock again. And then they sent another email yesterday saying basically "We've given up, sorry." I'm obviously not meant to have this one :-(

Actually this thread is not the right place to be asking for a steelbook. Go HERE and ask for a steelbook. Browse around the forums and get yourself familiar with them. In the Trades/Sales/Deals forum there are a lot of people that have trades and steelbooks for sale so you might also try there as well. Good luck.

That's bloody annoying from HMV, they're strating to piss a lot of people off with that.

It also works out marginally cheaper if you order it from Amazon.it, plus you have the option of adding more stuff (both Super 8 and Apocalypse Now Steelbooks are very cheap from there) with no additional shipping charges.
