Disney also produced the Future shop/Best Buy version WITH title and titled spine There's nothing stopping Zavvi obtaining an exclusive like that if they tried hard enough.

True although not so much in the UK, the Disney store has struggled over the last few years with many closing here and they aren't selling as many units of their home formats as they used to after many parents where unhappy about one of the recent Lion King blu ray sets. They have a grip in the US they have yet to replicate here quite as well. Both the Lion King and The Avengers releases made the national TV news and newspapers.

That's probably why! The suits all sitting round the table at Disney HQ saying sod those Brits, putting us on the news and closing our stores. Let them *****, they aren't getting a title on the front and spine!

Very true, that did surprise me a great deal to read about the Frozen problem. I've been buying US versions for 20 years since the start of Laserdisc. Both my Laserdisc and then my DVD player was a Region 1 only machine. The US has always had much better versions of many many films especially within certain genre's were films have either been heavily cut or just outright banned on those formats. Bluray has been the first format where I started with a UK machine adopting early with a PS3 till I found this place and my non UK buying has shot through the roof lol. Bluray does seem to have changed the market in terms of which countries are getting better versions. The internet has made buying global far easier and regional coding for most studios seems to have gone out the window so I really can't see why Disney chose to do that knowing buyers especially of steelbooks will just get it elsewhere. Disney still made their money back at the end of the day but with more hassle for those in the US.

Same can be said for their Marvel releases like this one. Doesn't really matter what version Zavvi obtains, buyers will look to here and if there is a version they prefer in another country they will buy it. It would be extremely nice if a UK retailer obtained a similar released version to the one secured by Best Buy and Futureshop but I'm "a" not going to be surprised when we don't and "b" happy to buy elsewhere if someone does get one. Thank God for HDN! American's got their 3D Frozen and we got our titled Thor DW.

I've read a lot of conspiracy theories on why the states were left outta of that on the initial release.

Yeah, at first they claimed they had made enough in 3D theatrical sales to warrant the 3D release...but mysteriously a 3D version may be coming in 3D in Oct for USA...

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s confirmation of nothing to announce for the 3D Blu-ray edition of Disney’s Frozen has made fans feel as though they were left out in the cold, with many resorting to order the 3D edition from overseas, amidst fears of ‘double-dipping.’ Although there has been no official announcement, marketing materials obtained by Stitch Kingdom have indeed confirmed plans for an October 2014 release of the 3D Blu-ray/DVD release of Frozen.

Just got back from seeing this at the pics, with all the rave reviews sad to say I was really disappointed in the movie and have cancelled my Zavvi order to make way for someone who missed out that loved the movie

The first one in my opinion was pants! But went to see the second one at the cinema yesterday and it was brilliant. Quite dark compared to most marvel films!! So I think you will enjoy it!!

Just saw the Cap tonight - had to, so I could keep up with Agents of SHIELD, lol - and it was just as great as everyone is saying it is. Definitely can't wait til these Steelbooks come out now!

WOW!! Absolutely amazing movie. I was literally glued to the screen. Without a doubt, one of the best superheroes movies I've ever seen (it's up there with The Avengers and the first Iron Man). The script was incredibly clever, the acting was flawless, the characters were interesting and tons of stunt sequences and action. But what I like most was The Jason Bourne element (the surprise plot twists and suspense). Disney+Marvel are a force to be reckoned with.
