LOL. That would never happen to me. Even if it would be the worst movie ever I would watch it to the end because I paid for it. :ohno:

I have a six month old daughter and have been on two hours sleep for a month :(

This happened to me with the first Cap movie. I learned my lesson after going to the movies without sufficient rest the previous night. Its an instant nap when the lights dim :hilarious: Hope you get another chance to see it on the big screen.

Nope, I'll wait for the Blu. It's cheaper than going to the cinema.

too true, i have a nice big 3D tv a very good bluray player and a fantastic sound system, if i take my family to the cinema, with treats you are looking at close to £50, plus you have the hassle of being surrounded by little s***s who do nothing but talk and text all through the movie, but, wait for the blu, order take away and watch in the comfort of your own home, only downside is avoiding reviews/spoliers for the movie for however long it takes for the blu to be released.

I dont see how you can judge a steelbook before the final artwork or the steelbook is even out.

Zavvi have done a great job on making more steels available for the UK and internationally, sure the artwork hasnt always been great for certain steels and the prices are sometimes questionable but considering most blurays brandnew are around £17-£20 £24.99 is not bad at all for this which includes the 3D disc.

The ONLY thing zavvi have done is single highhandedly kill the steelbook game by releasing steels of every single crap flick they hope to shove down our throats for big bucks. Mars Attacks and Team America... Really? who the heck has been begging for these movies in steelbook form? They over saturate the market and destroy many collectors faith in exclusive titles and limited print runs. Once highly valued titles like Transformers, Cars, The Town etc have been released with exact same artwork destroying the market for people who paid big money for them previously.

Not to mention the games they consistently play with OOS/ Soldout titles coming back in stock months after they are supposedly "soldout". Somethings doing well for us.. who cares that we promised 4000 units, lets order ANOTHER 4000!! Example - Jungle Book, Mermaid being sold for 23GBP and then price dropping them to 10GBP!! This has happened far too often with far to many titles. I have zero faith in their word and their advertising. Granted once in a blue moon they deliver a good steelbook and they do ship internationally, but its far outweighed by their poor customer service and quality of products that are on a continuous downhill slide.

And by the way... I have per-ordered brand new release steels from amazon for 16GBP like Battleship, Oblivion & Gatsby so forgive me for taking offense to zavvi's eye gauging prices of 25GBP!! Sorry that's just greed.

Zavvi don't make steelbooks
Studios arrange with retailers like Zavvi Amazon Hmv
Zavvi are a retailer an online Shop

Mars Attack is a great Film and sold out very fast

Steelbooks are now very popular and is the reason why film studios are releasing them using Zavvi or Amazon or Hmv
Arrow Films also release steelbooks and sell direct to customers and also through Zavvi and Amazon etc

Jungle Book and Little Mermaid print runs were 10,000
They made a mistake of overestimating the possible sales
They learnt from that mistake
That mistake was made by Disney not Zavvi
Zavvi are only a Retailer who sell what's offered to them by studios some will be exclusive and others will be available to buy from all retailers

If Zavvi say no to an exclusive the studios offer an exclusive to another Retailer

Steelbooks are a choice and I'm glad to see a film I like available in steelbook
If you don't like a movie don't buy it
If you buy steelbook and you don't like a film in the first place why would you buy it

I like steelbooks for there artwork and better packaging and I will always buy a steelbook release over a standard Blu-ray release unless there are extras only available in the standard Blu-ray release and not available in the steelbook version

I don't collect steelbooks because they might be worth money
I don't care if a release is 1000 limited or 50000 limited
What I like is the ability to buy a film I like and have in my collection

I don't care if its Zavvi or Amazon or other retailer who sell it as long as I can purchase it and at a reasonable price

I will never ever buy from Ebay seller who selling at a crazy price only will use ebay if price is less or around the same as standard retailer

If you see a steelbook you don't like been released there is someone who does like it been released
Your not been forced into buying anything

Couldnt agree more.

Zavvi are not the one's who decide on final artwork either, thats 100% the studios decision.

I hear you man and the stupid bastards always sit right behind you:angry:

Watched this last night and it is STUNNING! Best Marvel film after The Avengers! Full 10/10.

Looking forward to a good steelbook of it, so will most likely cancel my order soon as Zavvi confirm matte finish!

Nothing beats the one guy who is in every cinema who thinks he can phone during the screening  :shoot: :violent:

I witnessed a full on fight when I see paranormal 4 at the cinema. Was mental

Two guys rowing half way throuh the film on different rows
