I had an email from Royal Mail
Why would this package attract Customs if its being posted from Italy to the UK
The last time I checked, UK was still part of the EU
Its the postage from Italy, there is some issue where it looks like there is customs charge (or maybe). Happens a lot. No customs.

You checked a year ago then :p
The UK is no longer a part of the EU. There has been a transition period, and continue to be one, until the end of the year.
You shouldn't have to pay for customs for it though.

So one month on from this post:
Hey folks, had a chat with Carlo and conveyed your legitimate concerns.

It's great to see some movement with Casino and Rocketman shipping, but:
The Shining will be ready for shipment in 15 days (single versions 10 days)

Nope...
Birds of prey is almost ready and it will be shipped within end of November

Nope...
He added that he won't be announcing any more new titles till the backlog is cleared.

Honestly, I don’t mind announcements as long as they don’t ask money for them. They have so many titles announced that I don’t even remember all of them at this point. I’m sure Ford v Ferrari was announced almost a year ago and there was no preorder yet.
They might be trying to bring some traffic onto their website since The Goonies are not selling out ( surprise-surprise) with the new announcements like that.

If they can get The Shining, Birds of Prey and The Goonies all shipped before the end of the year that would be a big step forward. I do want the pre-order for Doctor Sleep and Back to the Future asap though.

Seems there's some confusion re: announcements and it's probably cos I quoted verbatim rather than clarifying:

No new announcements as in no money taken on new pre-orders before the backlog is cleared.

Anyway, here's an update sent to me while I was away. The below has been re-confirmed today with Carlo.

Casino CMA#15 and Rocketman CMA#17 have been shipped.
The Shining CMA#16 is almost completed and Single versions will be shipped next week. We're assembling Box Set so all copies will be ready within15th of December.
The Shining box set will be shipped combined to Birds of prey CMA#22.

Other titles are postponed to next year:

The Goonies CME#03 - first half of january
Joker CMA#20 - end of january
Once Upon A time CMA#21 - end of jenuary/first half of february
Jaws CMA#23 - end of february
IT Chapter 2 CMA#19 - March

New preorder plan:

December 2020 - The Grinch CMA#24
January - nothing
February - Beetlejuice + 300
March - Blade
April - Gladiator + Doctor Sleep
May - Le Mans + new title

This plan depends on the new restrictions due to the covid which do not allow us to work with the full staff

And any update on the Tim Burton "Batman" and "Batman Returns" set?

Hey there, I'm a new member of this forum, and I couldn't resist jumping into this thread. I absolutely love watching movies about casinos and gambling, so when I heard about the Casino Blu-ray SteelBook, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
Welcome to the forum!
So did you, get your hands on it. In it. Under it?

I skipped it as just bought a similar EverythingBlu release at the time.

Did you watch the Las Vegas TV series with James Caan then?
