2160p is 4k lol... it's the vertical pixel count, not the horizontal. Just as full HD is typically known as 1080p and not 1920pDon't care for '4k' (2160p is 2k), especially 'color corrected' with artificial HDR, buying this Blu-ray steelbook.
It was vertical pixel count, that's the point, you yourself wrote FullHD is known as 1080p, which is 1K.2160p is 4k lol... it's the vertical pixel count, not the horizontal. Just as full HD is typically known as 1080p and not 1920p
Yes, that's the common naming convention used for the general public, but it's still actually 3840p wide isn't it. Which is just shy of 4K, hence why it's called 4K. It's 4K not 2K.It was vertical pixel count, that's the point, you yourself wrote FullHD is known as 1080p, which is 1K.
We've counted horizontal lines or pixels from top to bottom for decades, 360, 480p, 576, 720p, etc, and then someone got suddenly hit on the head, and started counting left to right, I guess '4K' sounds 'cooler' and doesn't remind of Y2K or something. 3840 isn't even 4k, shows how forced it is.
It will be, just after you buy this one.Nice movie and steel. Just wish it was 4k.
