I don't see this selling out that quick, unless it does a Battle Royale and sells out in about 2 days!

Battle Royale sold out in 2 days? Wow...I got it for a sensible price off an eBay seller, think it was about a tenner. One of my best steelbooks but the discs could've been a little better (though the film was never visually stunning particularly).

BTW I didn't mean it was going to sell out quickly. A lot of people don't know this film or don't like it enough to get a steelbook. Only reason I might not pre-order this is because November is going to be ridiculous for pre-orders anyway - in fact I'm probably going to cancel Bodysnatchers to make room for Nausicaä now. Not sure there's any room for City Of God as well...

Finally a steelbook from Zavvi that I'll get. Although I would feel safer getting it off of ebay or a member here.

Ok. So now they are getting in the numbering game. ITs about time all these years my griping on this message board about getting each steelbook individually numbered has finally paid off. It was painful pre ordering all these subpar releases, but they finally took my advice around the world. Good. I am in for life now. As long as steels keep getting individually numbered like the sideshow sets do then this market has a LONG life left. Keep it real steelbook and make sure to give us the goods. Next you can work on the cheap thin layers of ink you thrown on most these steels instead of several layers of paint. Makes a big difference. Need the clearcoat to harden and hold the pain on the steel so they don't chip and flak off and scratch so damn easy.

Interesting. I love how more and more less well-known movies are getting the Steelbook treatment. It's great to see some overlooked movies getting some recognition.

Is there a way we could get Zavvi to do a ''Wreck-it Ralph'' and change some details?? I think it would be cool to get a vote on the go with 1 option being embossed and the other being debossed and also to campaign for a full gloss finish, because this is a Studio Canal release and we all know how they like ''powdered'' matte finishing.

A film Ive read and heard a lot about but never seen, Im not afraid of foreign films like some folks, and dont mind subtitled films, so might give this a go.

One point on the numbering though, what with a lot of folks on here getting their knickers in a knot with the slightest damage to a steel, a tiny scratch...a small paint chip etc ..if you receive a steel with a desirable number...would you send it back for a tiny scratch knowing your giving up your low number?...or will this make you less likely to return something?? and what with a lot of releases having j cards if it obscures the number, would you open your copy to see what number you have?? I dont care as I open all my items as I buy them to watch but would it drive you mad not knowing if you had a 'number 1' in your collection if it was numbered but your couldnt see it? :hilarious:

It's not a Steelbook, it's a Viva Metal Box. :D

I mean, in the end, the'yre the same thing, but not technically.

Sorry, my bad.

Zavvi should release Elite Squad steelbook too!!!
For both movies.
