Just recieved mine. Quite like it. The embossed city of god looks really good on the orange background. The numbering is on the front (I thought it was on the disk). Got 1862

Looks a bit different to the posted artwork, especially what I see as cut-out figurines. Glad I cancelled. Pre ordering is such a risk on what will eventually be the finished product in hand, and what will eventually be a drop in price - just look to recent events. How many times ever have you benefited by pre ordering Zavvi?

The reason they look "cut-out" is because they're embossed (just in case you couldn't tell from the photo)

This could have been so much better. The embossing is cool but the finish looks pretty poor and the placement of the laser etching makes it look silly. When laser etching was first announced I was expecting something discrete but it just looks like someone has written or printed on a number in a different colour to me. They should do it on the back and cut a little section out of the backing card.

Hmm, now that would pose as a dilemma, do you keep it as its possibly a rare 'misprinted' copy that slipped through the net, or maybe there are 4000 numbered copies and yours is one of the 6000 un numbered ones

Id keep it... as one thats missed by the laser it might become sought after...all depends how much you want a numbered copy...

Are you looking in the right place mate? It's in the center at the bottom (under the j-card) - I didn't spot mine until the light hit it from the right angle.
