[COMPLETED]GB (surfury)Paramount Centenary Wave (play.com Exclusives - Iron Man, etc)

Please note that this Group Buy operates under the Terms of HiDefNinja's Group Buy Rules Thread: For Members and Group Buy Hosts Can I draw your attention to clause #12 and as such the charges applied are a bit different to those I have charged previously. However I intend to keep them to a minimum for the benefit of all members. Enjoy the experience. :movie: :oohyeah:
THIS GROUP BUY IS NOW CLOSED TO NEW PARTICIPANTS
I don't anticipate any problems, so members can request 2 copies of each title from the get-go (but see post #121 :) sorry no more both Iron Man and Iron Man 2 now OOS) and hopefully we'll have a lot more join as well. However Paypal payments will need to be by normal Paypal (Goods) as I am no longer accepting Paypal Gift and don't forget you'll need to cover fees. For those with no or little feedback I reserve the right to request funds by Amazon Gift Card in GBP (or a mutually agreed currency). Charges this time will be £2.50 per Steel for the first 4, reducing to £1.25 for any subsequent Steels. Postage will be at cost, however I reserve the right to pass on any charges for Insurance, Tracking Services or similar. To guess postage (all I can do) you are probably looking at 1 - £4.98 or £6.76, 2 - £7.98, 3 - £10.42 or £11.64, 4 - £14.08, any more I will quote once in hand. If you want to know more go to www.royalmail.com. To Australia will cost just a little bit more and none of these prices include Tracking etc. Please do not PM me about other postage charges atm I will not reply, please wait till I have the Steels when I can give you an accurate figure. Please note that if members are wanting me to combine with any other Group Buy or purchase then this is likely to create a short administrative delay.

:D Group Buy is now fully active, :D as prices have been announced, Retail is £10.99. Release date is 13th August.

As usual this play.com exclusive Group Buy is only for members who cannot order direct from play.com.

Now I'm going to say this once and once ONLY as clauses #7 & 8 of the HDN Group Buy rules refer specifically to this, if you join the Group Buy you are giving a commitment to buy, and you are therefore expected to stay in the Group and pay promptly. I realise that there are sometimes valid reasons why you cannot, but please tell me or one of the trading mods if there are problems.

Please, please subscribe to the thread to catch any up to date info, if I hear anymore I will post so follow the main release threads. As usual please refrain from PM'ing me please. :)

"Rest of the World" (includes some USA too) This is being handled by me, OP not 100% uptodate. Mainly the multi item parcels which will be sent bycourier as too heavy for Royal Mail.

Dave,

Just sent you payment (incl. total cost, paypal fees and tips) and an e-mail with address.

Let me know that you have received both and that I did it correctly. :)

Thanks.

Dave, I used an online fee calculator so to my knowledge there should be plenty to cover your costs + a little tip on top. Email sent.

Many thanks.

I think someone's going to have to do a video of "How to use ppcalc.com" unless there is one on site or YouTube already.

btw never afraid to help mind so don't be scared by it mind.

USA peeps! If you're sending Dave a payment, go to ppcalc.com and do what I've done in the screenshot below. I use the "to receive this amount after fees, the person would sent you..."

Note what I have chose at the top too. Cross border payment, in pounds sterling, etc!

I would need to send Dave 11.64 GBP to pay for my 1 steelbook @ 10.99 GBP.

I would need to send Dave 18 $ (11.64*GBP) to pay for my 1 steelbook @ 17 $ (10.99*GBP).

I admit I had a little trouble at first because there are no detailed instructions on how to use it so I winged it at first. I'm not the best when it comes to complex calculators. Maybe you should sticky this here in the Group Buy forum so as to give reference to it whenever we need to because given a day or two this post will be lost in the masses. I'm sure a lot of members are having issues with that calculator and having the directions stickied would help out tremendously.

Sorry Dave I didn't mean to hijack your thread. :emb:

Can folk remember that postage costs have been added so need to be factored in to the amount sent. :)

Technically I should be quoting you a price of £11.64 then fees are built in. If you look on the Help tab of ppcalc there is a section about this halfway down. We may have surprises in store watch this space, well not this space but the Announcements section.

hey Surf, can you send me a quick PM?
I don't want to send you one just incase your inbox is full
