Just received mine along with the replacement disc. What exactly was the issue though?

Absolutely stunning edition anyway. The red and black with gold foil looks super classy! Excited to rewatch it

Where did you buy from?
Saw some saying, *Recalled disc is included
I wasn't really sure if that was a warning, that it's the old disc, not a replacement...

My understanding was that some players experienced playback issues, but the translation wasn't great, hence why I was unsure.

The replacement disc came packed separately in a plastic case alongside the sealed edition with the old disc, so just a case of swapping them around.

I ordered direct through Kimchi btw... it's still in stock right now.

I'll try and check both discs myself in a sec, see if I notice anything.

Well, admittedly my eyesight isn't the best, but after skipping through both discs I honestly couldn't tell a difference in brightness or anything and they played fine with no playback issues on my PS5... maybe it's only particular scenes or something??
