I have this idea for a "dark and gritty" (as much as I hate that term) reboot of Groundhog Day. It might sound daft but think about it....how long was he repeating that day? It could have been 100s or 1000s of years. What kind of effect could that have on a person and also how would he adjust once he escaped the day and time started to act like normal again? Because it's the film that started the "dark and gritty" trend, I'm going to say this is Dark Knight/Groundhog Day
