A four title steelbook wave originally supposed to be released in France where retailers refused to distribute them as these have been manufactured without the border debossing (planned to be used for placing the lenticular magnets). Scanavo offered these to Czech Republic, they accepted and started discussing price, release date and other options to sell these.

French blu-ray discs to be replaced with Czech ones + a new Czech j-card to cover the French printed text on the back. Take note that some of these steelbooks have a bit of a French text on front as well.


UPDATE: There will be an option to buy these as empty steelbooks for lower price. These won't be sealed!

If enough interest a group buy can be organized.

Shame there is no GB...What's Film-Game like as an online retailer? Do they understand how delicate steelbooks are and must be treaded as a fine Lady?

As far as I know they are much more reliable then the other un-named czech retailer. Karel is here to help and he works closely with FG so you can still ask him (or me).

I just hope the embossing doesn't wear too badly, with no debossing to offset it.
OTOH, these sort of "imperfect" runs may end up as a de facto rarity...

Interesting... was actually ordering from filmarena.cz where these are listed as well, since I have funds there from a past cancelled order - and their postage for all orders is CZK 562. Didn't realise the site listed would be cheaper. WIll probably stick with filmarena since I don't have to fork out any extra dosh.
