I expect it will show up again in a day or two listed at around £40. I believe that they need to have an item listed at a starting price before they can put their usual save £££ on it. If it was never on sale at that price they can't say save! therefore it goes up very briefly then gets taken off and relisted at a lower price

This is correct, retailers are legally obliged to list somethig at it's full price (or higher price) 28 days prior to any discounted or sale price. Looks to me like they have marked up the price to double what they will actually list it for so they can state "Was £49.99" and "Now £24.99".........Hopefully

Woke up this morning, had the e-mail from Zavvi, and immediately pulled the trigger. Must have, even though I can watch it anytime on Netflix.
