No Basil, the indicative list is a confirmed list, it is just "indicative" in as much it is what they hope to get finished this year.

Film Arena are growing very quickly Basil, and their reputation is growing apace. The studios are smiling on them due to the quality and attention to detail.

And really, what makes you think the studio would favour an upstart HK company which is sans proven track record and leave FA out in the cold?
And, View attachment 228328 as you can see, it says "preparing" They never go that far if it is just an idea.

Plus, it's title is a closely guarded secret at the moment, but there may be one more very VERY special FAC this year . . . . . . . :)

p.s. Don't bother asking Karel or Martin about the possible special one, they don't know - lol

How do you know? Can we ask you then? Lol

What is it?

Sorry, I'm teasing you, but that was intended.

It is something I am happy to say I instigated, and FA's business mananger has taken it onboard after we had a little chat about it, as he apparently feels passionately about the film too.
It all depends on the outcome of talks with Warner Bros, who are at least friendly to FA.

All I can really say at this time is it is a particulalry highly rated classic film that celebrates a special anniversary this year.
If it happens then the true film afficionados amongst us will be highly delighted. I certainly will . . . .

Coolios

Before I read the second paragraph I was hoping for inherent vice lol

Nooo, this is a real classic my friend - not a modern upstart - lol

Just think very very famous, auteur material from way back.

And if it doesn't happen, I will be devastated. I just hope Jan can sweet talk Warners.
Soon as I hear anything positive, I will post a new thread.

That's why I said before I read your second paragraph lol

But yeah would love a proper package of inherent vice from someone like FA or kimchi. I even emailed Warner about it before it's home release last year.

@JackRegan Given the clues you have provided: highly regarded classic film from an auteur director, having a special anniversary this year and with distribution rights held by Warner, only one particular title jumped out at me.

Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane" (1941) which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.

If my deductions are correct then I would certainly welcome the addition of this title to the FAC. I already have Warner's US Digibook but I would undoubtedly double dip for a bells and whistles FAC edition.

Warner have one of the most extensive film catalogues including, as it does, the classic libraries of both RKO and MGM. With "Papillon" (1973) and "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994) recently announced as future FAC releases, there's hope that FA will be able to continue to mine the Warner library for other gems from its illustrious past. I salivate at the possibilities.

can you at least confirm if we're talking last 30 years or an older classic?

Excellent can't wait to find out!! Now bring on deadpool!!! Beautiful WEA artwork ;)

With the usual delays with FAC we should not expect this before August I think.
Which makes me wanna order BB version instead. Or hopefully Nova release one.
Loved the flick so maybe I will double dip! ha
