I think it's fair to say every retailer has their good and bad bits. None are perfect.

Take money early, keep delaying and still get away with a slap on the wrist with full of praise. If they run a business like in the UK, trust me they will go bust.

least they are delayed due to quality issues and we're kept informed.

Though having only ever ordered via GB's with FAC, paying and waiting isnt an issue really. GB host sets terms and so long as I know where I stand (with GB hosts or retailer) am happy to wait.

Actually prefer to pay upfront than be billed when items ship (nowt more than a personal preferance) so having the payment all sorted and waiting is fine by me. I know I'll get it in the end.

I have a mint QC-ed UK and Italian Steelbook wherein oayment was tsken at the time of dispatch.

When I paid for this FAC there was no.news about delay.and now we have some.news about delay.

Wondering if FA would offer a discount for not keeping up with the time lines.

considering WHY its delayed, AND the fact they are letting us know, not just changing the date and not making any form of announcment *cough*Zavvi*cough* I dont mind. Things happen but FAC seem to keep us informed which from a customer point of view, is the least/best we can hope for.

Then again, I get why people are annoyed - if Zavvi were pulling these kinds of delay tricks then ya know we'd be all over to slam them (then again, they wouldnt tell us, they'd likley just change the date and wait until someone notices). So I understand the hate towards Film Arena but as many people have said, would you rather put up with delays for an amazing product? Or end up with some sub-par release?

If you don't like the way they do business why do you keep buying them and supporting them?

I personally prefer to pay on order - then there's not surprises or 'oh **** I forgot about that one' which has caught be out before.

Maybe if they had the option to pay upfront or when shipping that would keep everyone happy?

But then again, as an international retailer, they dont do anything the likes of Nova, JSDVD or KimchiDVD dont do - all take payment on order, not when shipped.
Maybe as a result we're spoit in the UK having many retailers charge when shipping..... *shrug*

The thing that makes me really pissed is not the delay. It's the Fact they announce 5-6 New Editions when other are still not finished because of some problems.
