the full slip lenti's are much nicer

It would be a shame if there wasn't a diversity of choice. Long live Lenti O-rings. I have always like the contrast with the full slips ( thin vs thick .....) and they don't hog up much shelf space.

On another note, the efficiency of Kimchi with their releases for the most part is what keeps me as a loyal customer. I love it when there is a tight ish schedule for a release rather than the numerous drawn out announcements then followed by delays and other disappointments i.e artwork issues, quality control, supplier issues..... I really appreciate that this was a complete announcement leaving no questions unanswered.

Well the Manta one won't be WEA steel as it's part of their global releases which are WWA steel with nice slips. Don't know about FAC yet.
I think FAC will be WWA also.

There's no FAC yet. But if one was given the green light, it will be the WWA steelbook (the European/Asian version spot glossed not the North American matte version) which is a great looking steel anyway.

Struggling whether to buy this now when there are a bunch of releases I want to buy coming up or risk re-sell later on down the line when my wallet has had time to rebuild

damn have to get this and by the looks of it the Manta artwork will be very different on the slips and/or lenti's. Lets hope if FA do one that it will also be unique. However that means if you get everything probably 8 versions of the same film, that would be a first for me at least :ohno: And to be honest with this film I don't mind

Rather be 100% in sourcing a copy now than taking a risk later...

Exactly. I'm glad there's an official HDN one as well (nothing against the other chap). Long may it continue

You wouldn't be taking a risk later if there were no pointless GBs. Before GBs started popping up for Kimchi, I never once came anywhere near failing to obtain even the most popular releases as long as I was on the site within a few hours of go-live time. But since these Kimchi GBs started appearing (on this forum and others), I've had two different items go out of stock on me in less than two minutes after go-live time.

In Kimchi's case, it's the GBs that create the risk. All you're doing by joining GBs for a store like Kimchi is paying more and pushing others who would otherwise never join such an unnecessary GB to also join because they're afraid, justifiably so, that all of the pointless GBs popping up everywhere will make it difficult to obtain a copy straight from the store.

There should be FA GBs because their store charges outrageous shipping prices.
There should be Nova GBs because their servers suck and ordering directly from them is a nightmare.
There should be GBs for a lot of other companies because they don't sell direct, or they don't accept some payment methods, etc.
But there is no good reason for there to be Kimchi GBs.

You obviously weren't collecting during the Thor: The Dark World days

No I wasn't. But that was quite a while ago, so it's irrelevant to the current discussion.

It's far from irrelevant, a lot of people missed out on that release and GB's for whichever the retailer helps limit that happening to true collectors again.

I join only GBs, when I'm not at home at the time when the pre-orders goes live ...and that's the case with Deadpool.

from my point of view,it´s always good to have GB`s no matter if it´s Kimchi,Nova ,FA ect... because i often haven´t got the Time ordering directly  and comming Home from work they are mostly sold out:sorry: ,so,thanks to all the people offering these GB`s :LOL:

Joining the GB saves getting up before 6AM for the UK guys especially when you don't have to
