So here is what happened to me (Keep in mind i am EST). I fell asleep around 10pm last night and set my alarm clock for 12:55am. I logged onto my laptop and had the page sitting there. At 1am i click refresh button and the "add to cart" button was there, so i clicked it. Then it took me to the checkout page and the moment i clicked on Checkout, it says it was out of stock????!!!!!(LENTI ONLY) literally 1 min later " Which in my opinion is impossible". This is pure BS and i am furious.....

I think the website ****** up in my honest opinion, because there is no way that 1100 copies of the LENTI could sell out in 1 min, even with all the Group buys over here at HDN or even Blu-ray forum.... There would still be a massive amount available at least between 300-500 copies at minimum.

This is just insane and im a extremely upset. My wife gave me the OK to go ahead and order the Steelbook beacuse it has been a while since i ordered anything and look what happens...

Now i have to go freaking pay $70 bucks (Ebay) for a film i could have paid $45 with shipping included...

Anyone agree with my statement?
This is the exact reason I joined the GB, risk paying less on Kimchi but losing out all together and having to go for the Ebay route, or joining the GB and getting instant piece of mind, and the extra $$$ you'd be giving someone on the bay anway so I figured rather give it to HDN/mod.

A good idea ...loyal (first hour) customers first...but they sell out anyway. how cares about collectors ;)
That's why I keep thinking the Filmarena way of preassigned numbers is best. I have a few days to think, agree or decline an edition at ANY time of day I please without any hurry.
Too bad they started acting like assholes, stopped combining orders AND jacked up shipping rates so they're higher than the cost of the release.
So lately I'm refusing to buy direct there too, joining group buys here or locally splitting shipping with two others.

What superior math skills! Not surprising considering you are an alien king, a superior intelligence. What planet you from?:p
Thank you for your kind words Earthling. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to mention that thanks to your peace treaties I had to sign. Man, you humans are such a pain the the @$$ with all these agreement terms & conditions bullsh*t

Also this I can understand, but please.. this is getting ridiculous. I’m stepping out of this game.
I hope you're not stepping out of PA. :ohno:
As far as retailers go, they are beyond best; in service and in content.

lol, not sure but he's the King of Aliens, you don't get there by chance :D (@AlienKing )
Can I plead the 5th here?

Gotta disagree with you buddy.
You thought all 1100 copies were reserved for international customers? Like I mentioned earlier, if you do a little bit of math, approximately 50 copies reserved for international customers at live time on the website. So its not surprising it sold out within 30 seconds...

Also disagree with you paying $70. Have a little patience, and wait till ML and FAC releases theirs. I'm sure you can find this on eBay at cost or better yet, below cost. :)

I have to disagree with the statement i highlighted in BOLD. There are 1100 lenti copies. HDN is the best, biggest site to host GBs am i right? If you add up all the users who are on all GBs hosted here at HDN and add up GBs from BD forum and maybe whatever other steelbook sites there may be, there would be no way that all 1100 could go to Group buys (And i am only speaking about the Lenti copy, doesn't even include Full slip). And i never said that all 1100 copies were reserved for international customers at any point.. I also do not know where you are getting that only 50 copies where reserved for international customers from? And it is surprising it sold out in 30 seconds... I honestly think Kimchi screwed this one and have had to remove the item from being purchased from site or accidentally removed it or something... just do not see how this could have happened.

I know me complaining will not change anything but i am just stating the facts and showing how i feel about the situation with Kimchi.

The Print Run
Full Slip (Type A) 1,250 Copies | Lenticular (Type B) 1,100 copies
From this Print Run stock is sold at the same time on Local and International websites

This was sold on both Kimchidvd Korea Website and Kimchidvd International Website
Separate websites selling this release the same time

The print run is usually split 50/50 between websites but sometimes can be less if the demand on Domestic Korea Website is more
The International Website would of had very little stock available and is why it sold out mega fast

Sometimes if a release on the Korea Website is not selling as well compared to the International website stock from Domestic website is made available to the International website
With Deadpool that would not have happened with this release
Local Domestic sales would have been a lot

Dunno what the big deal is with this release, the fullslip doesn't look that great (exactly the same as the artwork for the slipcover for the amaray release in the uk) and the Lenti looks cheap because its that generic image of deadpool photoshopped onto some skyline background which wasn't even in the film.

At the end of the day, Manta lab and FAC will have superior releases for this and the price on this will drop. Its not even WEA on the steelbook either

you wanna have my lenticular for retailprice? i wait for manta..

I'm waiting to see the beauty shots of Film Arena Collection release which is expected soon going by Jan from Film Arena post on facebook on Wednesday 6th July

Same steelbook with most likely better overall package and there is also Manta to show what they are providing

Both Film Arena or Manta will be better than the the Kimchidvd release with ease

I'm going to get in touch with a few programmers to see if they can make a bot to checkout for me when products launch on the website ... a bit like auction sniping via a bot on ebay.

Then i'll sell the program to anybody that's interested for a very reasonable price.
