I have to disagree with the statement i highlighted in BOLD. There are 1100 lenti copies. HDN is the best, biggest site to host GBs am i right? If you add up all the users who are on all GBs hosted here at HDN and add up GBs from BD forum and maybe whatever other steelbook sites there may be, there would be no way that all 1100 could go to Group buys (And i am only speaking about the Lenti copy, doesn't even include Full slip). And i never said that all 1100 copies were reserved for international customers at any point.. I also do not know where you are getting that only 50 copies where reserved for international customers from? And it is surprising it sold out in 30 seconds... I honestly think Kimchi screwed this one and have had to remove the item from being purchased from site or accidentally removed it or something... just do not see how this could have happened.

I know me complaining will not change anything but i am just stating the facts and showing how i feel about the situation with Kimchi.
Yea i was exaggerating with the 50 :D But i dont see how else it can sellout under a minute.
You agree maximum 50% of 1100 reserved for international customers right?
I'm guessing most of the 550 were allocated to GBs by Kimchi to ensure a guaranteed sellout.
So whatever the leftover sold out within seconds. I dont see any other possible explanation :)

And yea, I totally understand your frustration. Like I said before, have some patience and you can definitely pick it up for cheaper than now.

I already did, with pain in my PA heart. Releases were coming to fast, printruns were increasing, re-releases of titles being sold again and again. Nah, i'm done. I'll only get Oldboy if that ever goes live and an occassional title which i love. My collection is already incomplete since Only Lovers left alive.... I'm sorry @AlienKing ;-) So sorry. But i still think PlainArchive are the best when it comes to total design from concept to customer services. It has become a feeling, Plain Archive. A feeling you feel in your heart and can turn you sad and fill you with joy too.

Just as much as i love all the effort FilmArena puts into their outstanding releases, every FilmArena release feels soulless to me. If you know what i mean. PlainArchive on the other hand... that's pure emotion. PlainArchive = emotion.
Aww man, that sucks. But i totally get you. I stepped out of #OCG.
And agree with everything you said about FA and PA :)
Hopefully you never stop collecting for movies that you love.

have been checking daily and hoping for lightning to strike an be able to grab a cancellation but its looking less and less likley

Never got cancellations from kimchi before - do they usually list after dispatch or release date? I know zavvi used to list release day or just after if there were cancellations...whats the deal with these guys?

@yeslek They sometimes list sold out titles weeks after release date and sometimes only a few days later. I'd keep an eye on here and on their facebook page where they usually announce ahead of time if they plan to list some cancelled ones. Good luck!

I still have the one-click showing in my cart, so I have tabs open for that, the item page and kimchi's facebook that I try to check randomly an often throughout each day...am determined to complete that sale :)

but thanks. least I know there is still hope.

same here...if I cant source a cancellation am hoping for them to be average JUST so selfish old me doesnt feel any worse for missing out.

Would just be salt in the wound to have it be kimchi best release ya know?

Well just checked my account and I see now it's listed as "CANCELLED".

Apparently even when you receive "Your order has been made successfully" email your still out of luck. Not sure what happened to the leftover stock.
