Ordered one too even though the code is no longer working - just in case, you know, but with 4,000 to shift I don't see this selling out any time soon and will probably cancel and re-order if a decent code is available between now and release date.

Anyone know if the 'live' time for this is unique in that it coincides with the first showing in U.K. cinemas (steelbook "live" midnight 9/2/16, first cinema release approx. same time)?

According to the BFFC:
- "Contains strong bloody violence, strong language, sex references" and "This work was passed uncut".
THE FILM AND CHINA
As revealed by other posters China (and possibly other territories) has banned this film.
Didn't get it how in this day and age a film can be banned in a "civilised" country just because of inappropriate content but reading a bit about the issues I get it now and the situation is best set out by THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER from the 17th January 2016, and I quote:-
"The Ryan Reynolds anti-superhero has been denied permission to screen in the world's second largest movie market.
It got the most rousing reception of any title previewed at Comic Con last year but China's censors have taken a far less enthusiastic view of the film and according to widespread local news reports. Deadpool, which was produced by 20th Century Fox and based on the Marvel comic book character, has been denied permission to screen in China due to its violence, nudity and graphic language.
China's censors often work with Hollywood studios to create special cleaned-up cuts of "R" rated movies but sources close to the Deadpool decision say it wasn't possible to excise the offending material without causing plot problems.
China has NO RATINGS SYSTEM so the county's media regulator the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (S A P P R F T) makes an up-down judgement on all film imports approving them or banning them for consumption by Chinese viewers of all ages.
Movies based on Marvel comic books have done huge business in China with Avengers: Age of Ultron grossing $240M last Summer and Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man grossing $96.4M and $105.4M respectively.
20th Century Fox declined to comment".

Let's hope the brave decision to release the film that we all wanted, despite alienating the second largest film market in the world, does not backfire on Fox and that it will be a MASSIVE SUCCESS in every territory in which it can be seen and make up the megabucks it lost from the Chinese market.
