Pre-ordered without codes since none seem to be working at the moment, but I also put a pre-order at amazon.fr where it's slightly cheaper (and it could reduce in price during the next few months too, which will never happen at zavvi).

After seeing the artwork for the amazon.fr, I'm slightly concerned about the potential for a printed on banner on the front.

No go for me on that, regardless of price.

over £20 for a 2D steel, with no extras ie slip, lenti, cards, numbering etc is a no go

The french mock up is different in that it shows an embossing border.....

I'm guessing Zavvi's will be the same as this only minus the banner?

Well i've just recently added it to my Iron Man collection:

The border, the probably embossed title, the banner and last but not least the deadpool-symbol... very similar setup of the steelbook...
Apart from the banner, it looks even more similar to Zavvi's Iron Man steelbook:

Just seen the film and it's f*cking insane amazing. It's pretty much perfect and everything i wanted. Glad I ordered (or like I said before if one comes along with all the bells and whistles then I'll jump on that)
Can't wait for the special features! And I don't say that often!

Just hope this is gloss but it being fox I'm not sure. Maybe spot gloss but who knows

Saw this today and it's awesome

It is not one for the kids lol
It was everything I expected and more. It has very much a kickass feel to it, if you don't like those films you probably won't like this. It's got loads of humour, sadness, some pretty strong gory violence and lots of swearing. It is quite coarse bordering on bad taste but I loved it. I know it's childish but when he strokes her face with the wee hand I laughed out loud and that doesnt happen too often lol

My cinema was packed today (but I suppose when a film is £2.50 to watch it's a no brainier) there were some 60+ couples and they were laughing out loud with the rest of us which I liked, no one walked out either which I thought some of the oldies might of (I mean the 60+ers) becuase of how crude and it is. And it's extremely crude and explicit (love it, my kind of humour) also the whole cinema was laughing literally every 5 seconds and never experienced that before in a marvel film (for obvious reasons). Some Epic references of films and celebrities too as well as other things oh and little digs and comments on the X-men were unreal.
Flash what you mention about the hand - it's what he says after to get her out the room- I was in bits lol)

Such an epic film and can't wait for the sequel now

I caved and read your spoilers, but I don't regret it one bit... this definitely sounds like my sort of film! I really like the steelbook too, so it's win-win for once.
