. . . and according to The Independent from the Monday, 1st Feb. 2016:-
"t should come as no surprise that DEADPOOL has been certified 15 in the U.K., with no scenes cut from the film.
The BBFC stated that the Ryan Reynolds starring flick features "strong bloody violence, strong language and sex references.". In comparison the Motion Picture Association of America rated the film R, citing "strong violence and language throughout,. sexual content and graphic nudity".
Unlike most comic book films, 20th Century Fox is attempting to be a little different with their 'new' hero, being overtly explicit in comparison to the subdued action of X-Men and Avengers.
What's odd about the rating is that the BBFC's film policy is known to, on occasion, give higher ratings than in the U.S. and often cut scenes yet the BBFC do not mention "graphic nudity" and did not elect to
give it an 18 rating.
It has also been teased that an 'even more raw' Director's Cut of the film may be on the way. Director Tim Miller previously told Comic book.com that "there was a bar scene that was even too vulgar for an R rated DEADPOOL.- The bar scene was particularly mean and offensive to a lot of people" when T.J. Miller got together with star Ryan Reynolds and wrote a version of that scene that we just said "Oh my God, this is too far. I mean there were so many people offended it would have been really . . . we couldn't do it .It was just mean and so I said no, we don't have to do that".
AND again from The Independent, this time from the 22nd January:-
"DEADPOOL has been selling itself hard as Marvel's R-rated glory: though it's not the studios' first with the rating, with the last being PUNISHER: WARZONE (2008) : not revolutionary then but the studio's focused, inspired marketing campaign has taken full advantage of DEADPOOL'S relative outsider standing among this year's blockbusters putting its R-rating from the MPAA front-and-centre.
Is it really much of a surprise then to hear that T.J. Miller, who plays Weasel in the film, has teased a Director's Cut of the film - one that will be "even more raw that what you will see in cinemas" ?
It's unlikely this is beyond a carefully controlled and extremely deliberate move by the studio to further drum up hype for the ultra-violent flick. Comments were dropped by Miller while attending a special fan screening of DEADPOOL in London and shared on Twitter by an audience member on the 28th Jan. 2016. Presumably this unrated cut from director Tim Miller will accompany the film's release on Blu-ray and DVD later this year."
AND, finally, from ComicBook.com:-
". . . but the biggest challenge was in the editing bay - there was a bunch of stuff that Miller had to cut out of the film including an extended fight scene and a bar scene as well as improvised riffs such as "You look like a trucker took a s**t on your shoulders and then shaped ears onto it".
Miller: "Don't expect those cut scenes on your Blu-ray but don't worry, plenty was left in, trust me"
Reynolds: "This movie's going to have a s**t ton of DVD extras, because for every joke in the movie there's probably 3-10 alternatives . . .it's heartbreaking you can't put it all in. We sat in the edit room for months and painstakingly went through the movie - you've got to kill some of your darlings."
Reynolds promises that he'll be the champion of the extras section being as beefed up as possible".

In conclusion, reading between the lines of the above, maybe expect a BBFC18 rated Director's Cut ? (in July/August of this year ?)
