It does not anymore (it started about three months ago), since Disney/Marvel gave discs production/distribution license to Happinet in Japan: all Disney/Marvel movies on azJAP are now sold within Japan only (and Sony ones as well)
The 3d Blu-ray is available here for international shipping
It's only the amaray, it doesn't really matter how they pack it tbh
Does anyone know if this 3D steelbook and its other variant actually exist? Have been keeping an eye on it for a while to see if it would pop up on eBay or elsewhere. Did it actually ship as a singular steelbook with 3 discs inside?
I've yet to see one. I've found the 4K amaray with mug and the set of three acrylic cards. Those for sale in Japan proxy sites are for the "international" versions as some of the listing say the domestic pre-orders sold out but I've yet to see one in the wild.
Yes, they just sold immediately. You aren't going to find one for sale at retail, available to international buyers, now, a year and a half after release.
Interesting…. I’ve never seen it in the wild either. I wonder if it even exists. Anyways, thank you for the international link, I’ll continue to keep an eye out for it!
I understand I’m not going to find one for retail price. My post was regarding if it even exists? I’ve monitored a bunch of resale sites including eBay, and I’ve never seen it pop up unlike every other MovieNEX 3d steelbook release. I’ve also never seen an actual picture on a forum of someone receiving the Amazon Japan 3D steelbook when it came out in December 2024. I would love to be proven wrong, and just continue to wait for it to show up somewhere.

I've never seen either copy on eBay or the site I mentioned. Every other MCU release before and after has had the Amazon Japan release with the mug, poster and badges which were available but I didn't see one listing for the Deadpool & Wolverine steelbook releases, even on the second hand market to date.

I didn't mean at retail price, I meant sold by a retailer "at retail", i.e amazon.jp, not a reseller. These sold out insanely fast, and I think amazon.jp had stopped shipping outside of Japan at that point too, which automatically makes listings unavailable if you aren't in Japan, and would make it much more difficult for non-domestic buyers to obtain. It does exist though, I recall a friend of mine showing me his not long after release.
