There is something to be said about being able to pop into a shop and cherry pick the best Steelbook from the shelves, no waiting, no risk of a dent and certainly no spine slashes.

True that. It also means getting it on Monday, which given how useless Amazon are with pre-orders, is never the case with them.

I live in California, have loads of Targets all around me, and yet, I will be returning my Target copy (even with the extra exclusive disc) in favor of the UK version that is embossed. I've just had a belly full of it with the awful quality control from the USA Target batches. I'd rather have a nicely embossed mint condition steel of this than an extra disc.

They changed the release date to the 20th May. I got an email from Amazon about that couple of months ago.

I never thought I'd say it but I wish I'd ordered from zavvi. Amazon probably won't ship till Monday. The things I do to save 2 quid. And if zavvi packaging continues being same style as Star Trek came in ill use them more regular from now I think.
