I've sent amazon an email airing my frustration with this and explained the whole hmv price situation as I tried to cancel my order this morning but got an email saying I can't as it's in the dispatch process...... Will wait for their reply now, hopefully it will be with my time reading it :-/

This is silly now, all friday, sat and sun my order status at amazon sed dispatching soon, but has now gone backwards and says not yet dispatched and i can cancel the item again whereas i couldn't before... I have had no email about delays, if this is not posted today, i will cancel and order elsewhere...

I didn't understand that move anyway to be honest. They shipped mine on friday and I got the info on saturday about the price guarantuee and the refund. No worries at all - as always with amazon.

Well my Amazon order was fine, though I am a Prime customer. Dispatched on saturday morning and arrived today. Something of a surprise, actually. It's been a while since they managed to deliver on release day even with Prime.
Doesn't usually bother me too much as anything I like enough to pre-order I'll want to keep for the weekend anyway.

Amazon have really screwed up this time, i know for a fact that i do have the £££ so they are crazy, pluss they have charged me for my copy of django i cancelled around a month ago to re order 2 (one for me andone for a friend)...

I got mine from amazon for £17.66

Received my copy today from Amazon, was sent Saturday morning by standard delivery, very impressed to receive this on release day as I usually don't receive my Amazon orders until Wednesday. Very nice Steelbook indeed.

Same here. Shame really as its £2 cheaper instore at HMV too. Coulda picked it up.

Yeh the steelbook in hmv are shed loads across London. So im sure it was mass produced given the fact its a big release. Cancelled amazon and bought one from HMV.
