Just picked this up for hmv for 15.00 yey.

Received mine today. A very poor looking flimsy Steelbook. Would have looked great if it was glossy. Why Studios like Warner, Sony, Fox etc. deliberately use poor quality finishing on popular titles is beyond me?

Yeah that flex is a tad annoying i dont no whether its because they used a thinner type steel or because of the embossing. My The Thing steel has the problem.

It happens on a lot of steels, its a side effect of the embossing/debossing. It weakens the metal.

You'v gone gloss crazy, it does look nice though I am tempted to try to and play with the Fs matte Pacific rim.

Correct, won't be glossi ng those type of Steels. Felt this one needed the gloss touch.

The Red and.Black now really pops than before and things appear more detailed

Yes, typical DIY. No rocket science. All you need to do is pass the sobreity test to ensure you have a stable pair of hands to apply the spray.
