I have very HIGH HOPES for the UK version. It's distributed by Sony. I double checked my collection and EVERY sony steelbook I have has a glossed finishs,.. even the first two Men In Black and the dreaded red SpiderMan Steels (1, 2 & 3)-> that everyone thinks are ugly. They may have done "Matte" finishes in the past but I can't find an example. (please let me know if any of you know of any.) As such I've preordered a copy from the UK instead of getting the Target one.

Thanks guys! - Guess I didn't check my "entire collection" too well I have the "Zombieland" steelbook too -d'uh,.. anyways, here's hoping they give this Django the steelbook treatment it deserves! I'm still gonna keep it preorded just in case

i think this will be like other Sony steels (Green Hornet,Salt) and just be the same all round the world

I am really disappointed by Studios attitude towards popular titles. Large print run = poor quality or lackluster Matte finishing.

Correct but I do say positive things and praise when it is done properly. The QC issues are simplly due to poor matte finishing on black background.
