Just a poll to see whether people prefer separate Steelbooks for each film in a series or if you would rather have one for the complete set.

Depends if there can be good generic art - Aliens, Godfather and MIB are three examples that i love in a single case. Others such as Mission Impossible work well as singles due to the different colours. Id probably opt for one steel for previous releases

hmm i will vote for one steel for the complete set^^

cause there are a lot of complete set steels which are nicer than the seperate ones...

Underworld Trilogy
Bourne Complete Movie Collection
Spiderman Trilogy
Resident Evil Trilogy KOR and GER !!!

I prefer all in one set if it's dope, like the Alien series. But as many say it depends. For example I love the upcoming seperate steels for the Indy series. Because they all have this matching artwork and such, they are much cooler as seperate steels. :)
So as I said it all depends...

For older, pre-bluRay movies, yes. u can cram at least four movies into a single case, normally without losing any bonus material (special features tend to remain in standard definition which can normally also fit on the single disc)

However for newer movies made for the HD era, It's probably not really ideal as things like 3D and special features have to go in order to fit the other movies into the same G2 case.

Of course the biggest advantage of collections is the space they save in ppl's collections, not to mention the fact that many movie series don't actually deserve individual releases - typically because half of the squeals in a film series suck donkey ass ;)

Separates are better like the upcoming indy steels:oohyeah:
I'd rather have the choice + all the extras rather than just the films

all the multi one's i've seen have been unimpressive ex: Batman Begins and Dark Knight, The new Star Wars trilogies are weak i'd much prefer to have the "Complete Saga" boxset which is far nicer imo...

Individual please and this is why: most of the time, the franchises get sequels or prequels, making the "complete series steel" irrelevant.

Resident Evil comes to mind: the quadrilogy steel was released a few days before they had announced a sequel! What a bummer!

excellent point, "Indian Jones" trilogy is another, on my shelf I've got the collectors edition dvd trilogy then next to it seperate is the damn "Crystal Skull" one, same with "Die Hard" I've got the collectors edition trilogy then boom 2 more are added to the franchise, "Rocky 1-5 anthology" boom they hit me with "Rocky 6"

and look at "Toy Story" they're on about now actually making a 4th so anyone with the trilogy boxset of that's getting hit too; so you're mos def better off with steelbooks sticking to individual titles...

Ditto...I am expecting to see Bruce Willis in Die Hard 10 eventually where he just passes away of old age. I don't want that as part of my Die Hard collection.
