I mentioned in the notes section at checkout to mark custom friendly @ $18. I then woke up to an email basically saying they can't do that and it's up to the logistics agent who will mark each package with a reasonable declared value

On orders over $39 I think. My query was regarding customs declaration though, not shipping costs 
never had anything less than a standard box with plenty of bubble wrap sent from Kimch or Nova. You will be fine
