Dunno what to do here, I'm def in for BF 1-Click but I also like the WWA steelbook and wouldn't mind adding it to my collection, however Kimchi's slips are a mix of BF WEA and I'm torn between the Lenti (Same as BFs Back artwork) and Type A2 Full Slip (Same as BFs Front artwork), don't like Full Slip A1, also the fact that BF will release 2 lentis, meaning no Full Slip on offer which makes me lean more towards Kimchi's full slip A2 but then again it's BF front artwork... dunno man...

Think you made the right choice mate. A lot holding out for blufans and pre order maybe disappointed
Hopefully  I just know how quickly some of these Kimchidvd releases go. I didn't want to risk it with this one:cigar: Hopefully come Friday, those who really want it, manage it

The WEA fans are obviously very vocal on this site (and rightfully so, blufans make some cool steelbooks) but there's obviously a market for premium, standard releases too. Theres a large, loyal, devoted Kimchidvd fan base and they obviously appear in time for release, even if the hidefninja threads aren't the most crowded. Here, one of the nicest WWA packages I've ever seen with the Steelbook / Pet, plus its a marvel film, plus there's only 700 lenticular's, and the extras look fantastic in my opinion. Definitely don't regret joining the GB

Maybe thats the reason behind the blufans delay of the beauty shots reveal, they're trying to change up their design to it doesnt clash with Kimchi?
Never thought of that mate. Seems too late in the game to get artwork changed but they could be switching a double lenticular into a single / vice versa. Perhaps their single was the same and they didn't want to compete.

By what I recall, KimchiDVD has not made a similar slips of like BLUFANS since Frozen
I hope they are up to date with what others find so they have special slips
And that will contribute to demand
And vice versa

To be fair, they haven't tackled many of the same films. Some which they have, they've knowingly used the same like @harry mentioned with CA2. The conversation here stems from Blufans using the same as Nova's Jungle Book implying there is no conversation going on between the companies. Also theres a large plethora of slips here, with your example, Frozen, Kimchidvd dropped 1 lenticular. Nowadays, both sides of a slip need a poster too unlike then. With a large amount of artwork needed, and only a handful released, it's likely we'll see the same repeated, especially with the WEA steelbook from blufans too.

Kimchi also made CA2 Winter Soldier Lenti, same as Blufans CA2 lenti

Kimchi Made such a killer Release of CA2, they definitely took Blufans to the cleaners :joy:

Wow, the Blufans BS looks pretty sick. They have some of the same images. Blufans looks to be the clear winner but will probably cost a bit more considering there SB is WEA, Double Lenti, and the Box for the 1-Click looks premium. Blufans will certainly be thicker and heavier. It's still possible that the Kimchi Lenti could look better but I'd say Blufans are the favorite. Kimchi does have 2 Full Slips while Blufans just has a 1/4 slip(only if you get the 1-Click) so if you want a Full Slip this should make your decision easy.

They will both sell out, just a matter of how much you want a full slip, how much people want to spend, and if you want/like the WWA steelbook or the WEA from Blufans. If you want to spend less or get a Full Slip Kimchi is the ticket, everything else Blufans. You never know but that's how it looks at the moment.

I think as far as individual editions go..Kimchi is the winner. Yes blufans is WEA and you get the fancy plastic numbering card but you get so much more with the Kimchi edition including a PET slip, lenti magnet, post cards and an art book and these things aren't dependant on which edition you get. I'll still get both but Kimchi have put the full package out there.

What I don't get though is Nova could've done this and probably had sales issues yet this will sell out fast judging on the group buy alone, I dont understand why that is?

Depends really if you're into slips, you know where to go. All of the Kimchidvd ones are more fluid and consistent, matching design and colour from the front to the rear opposed to blufan's more sporadic decision making. I can't speak ahead of time on finish, embossing and lenticular effect but I guess time will tell.

Pair that with (which I've already mentioned and I'm sorry for going on) the stunning PET / WWA steelbook combo which imo is nicer than the WEA. Add the extra goodies which I personally don't care for but the lenticular spine is a nice touch.

There's no denying blufans has dropped a nice package for those who want something as well as / instead of the WWA but idk where this clear winner mentality has come from especially when so many people collect for the slips nowadays

Can you explain how the relationship between Disney, NM, and Kimchidvd works? You say that Nova could've done this. Was it offered to them and they refused?
