She’s back. The Thirteenth Doctor is returning for the thirteenth series, a six-part Event Serial.

Since their last epic battle in Revolution of the Daleks, the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) and Yaz (Mandip Gill) have been exploring the universe together but with the Doctor now questioning everything about her past she will undoubtedly be searching for answers…

This adrenalin fuelled, universe-spanning series will also see an addition to the TARDIS with actor and comedian John Bishop (Accused) joining the cast as Dan Lewis. Dan will quickly learn there’s more to the Universe than he could ever believe.

Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones, Broadchurch) is also set to make his debut on Doctor Who as recurring character, Vinder. Jacob’s new role will see him join forces with the Doctor, Yaz and Dan as the Doctor faces her biggest ever adventure.

Series 13 will introduce some terrifying new adversaries and the return of truly iconic old enemies. Expect action, fun, scares and extraordinary new worlds as the Doctor and her friends confront a deadly evil

Just pre-ordered. Honestly, they are really gouging people on this one.

It looks a nice steelbook. But £37.99 for six episodes of the least popular series to date. Even the New Year Days Special isn't included. Ouch.

Preordered a couple of months ago, but I don't get it with their releases. First there were great big digipacks, during first 4 seasons, on DVD. Then they started making these pretty steelbooks, I've rebought the first 4, plus specials in them on BD.
Then, for S5-7, with the Eleventh Doctor, the best one could get, were digistacks (later re-released in steelbooks).
Later there were great big wide digibook collections, only bought The Complete Peter Capaldi Years for seasons 8-10.
Finally, for the hated woman Doc they went back to nice long digipacks with seasons 11 and 12, which is what I got. But S13 is a steelbook again? My Doctor Who collection is now all over the place, literally.

Yes, there's been some variation over time with Doctor Who releases, but series 13 isn't back to being a steelbook, there's just a steelbook available if you want it (just like there was for series 11 and 12), and indeed every series. It's only Twice Upon A Time and Resolution of the Daleks that don't have steelbooks of their own or appear in any series packaging no matter what one you buy.

I preordered so long ago, in November, that I thought it was only steelbook or amaray. Now there's new pics for the 'regular' edition, with the 4 art cards and thicker looking box. Maybe it will be a digipack? I'd rather buy that. Plus it's twice as cheap.
