Ordered, don't usually collect Dr Who stuff but this series was my favourite so it's a no brainer.
HMV want 34.99 lolNice design!
Ordered on Zavvi, but I'll cancel that if HMV stock it.
Same here! This series was Moffat's best by far, and still my favourite series of "New Who". The Eleventh Hour was such a fun debut for Matt Smith, and Karen Gillan was a top companion!
Wow! Zoom £10 cheaper than that. And another £2.50 off with the SIGNUP10 code, making it £22:49...HMV want 34.99 lol
There's nothing the BBC loves more than making money from re-releasing Doctor Who, so I assume this is a given.I can see the classic show getting the steelbook treatment in a few years once the special editions are gone...
Noooooo! If they do, then I MUST resist. Or is resistance futile? There's nothing the BBC loves more than making money from re-releasing Doctor Who, so I assume this is a given.
Same here...Not my generation but did buy the jumbo steelbook of this series released in 2010 ...

Indeed. And very appropriate too, as this season contains the excellent episode Vincent and the Doctor
AFAIK, it is still being recorded in 1080p rather than 4K. But then the first four series of Nu-Who (and The Next Doctor) were filmed in SD but have been upscaled for blu-ray release, as they are now doing for the original series. So upscaling Nu-Who at least to 4K is not beyond the realms of possibility....Seems to be a new Doctor Who steelbook every month now, must be rushing to get them all out before they start releasing it in 4K.
HMV price is the same as Amazon £29.99HMV want 34.99 lol
