But to be fair, it is his opinion, and despite the government's best attempts, the last time I checked we were still living in a democracy.

As for this release.I like the art, the keychain is ok; but I refuse to buy a zed box, and they'll have to drop the price substantially even without it to make it a must buy in this household
Like I said previously - £6-00 or less on Amaray has to give anyone pause for thought, and if it doesn't, then perhaps you should ask yourself why . . .

Well not everyone is a big fan of Mondo art, and even if I was I certainly wouldn't want to see it on every other release. I hate it when a wave of steels come out that all have a similar art style, I like my steels to be about the film in question - not the wave it happens to be part of (like the stupid pop-art waves or the old washed out pale Warner wave). If it seems relevant and suits the film (like The Raid) then yes that's different.

Well I'm pretty sure there's plenty of people outside NA who would want a chance to buy them without group buys. Zavvi usually have some crap artwork for titles so I'd rather buy the Mondo ones.

Plus it's not like they are done for every film so you are not going to have a wave of releases with similar art styles

Hahahaha these jokers increased the price to £24.99 ??? ARE THEY FRIKKIN KIDDING ME? The 3D amaray goes for less than £5.

I'm going to hold out for a Blufans, HDZeta or Novamedia on this one or until a price drop. I'm happy holding on to my amaray for now.

That Z Box is pricey, but I'll order one to secure a copy and cancel at a later date when the cheaper offer comes available.

i like the keychain, but its irrelevant to steelbook collectors. i dont think zavvi understand steelbook collectors.

they produced a branded keychain and even a little pouch to keep it in... its nice they made the effort, but i think they could have used those resources to make a lenticular slip with a booklet.

instead what we have is a throwaway novelty with the only purpose of its pairing with the steelbook seeming to be a device to increase the retail price. keep the novelties in the zbox!

Not sure what circumstances were here, but unfortunately slips cannot always get approved in all markets/studios.

Normally I would agree with you levi .

Thing is it is aimed at Dredd collectors as well . Zavvi know bang on what they are doing with this .

Lol think I'll stick with my Mondo version and picked up the Amaray for 4.99 at my local Tesco last week so I can keep it sealed. £20 for what will most likely be a matte box is laughable, even with the 50p keychain.

Jesus effing CHRIST!! What is it with Zavvi and this bloody crap box!! STOP NOW!!! Keep the steelbooks and Zbox separate! This is one dirty stinking tactic by Zavvi, if it wasn't bad enough that they want £24.99 for this, regardless of the keyring, they want to do it as another pointless bundle!!! They really are starting to alienate their customer base. I for one am not going to be paying £24.99 for this, let alone getting the bundle. It's limited to 2500, so somebody is going to get the rest and probably do a better job and at half the bloody price, like Film Arena for example. Effing furious with them over this,[emoji35]!
You can probably tell, I've had a bad day at work and reading this has just topped it off! Well done Zavvi, you really know how to treat your loyal customers!!

Worth is subject to interpretation and personally I can't justify over 2/4 the cost of the steel itself on a keyring especially as I don't collect them.

Don't want a zbox cos they are crap and i'm not going to pay £42 for this steelbook, this is not ironman and will never be worth as much as that
so if I don't get a pre order for the steelbook on it's own I will wait and get it from ebay and I can tell you now it won't be for £42. Zavvi are just trying it on so just don't bite people.
