The Dredd Badge with Star Wars is a Full Size Dredd Badge its not what comes with the Dredd Steelbook
You only get the Full Size Dredd Badge if you choose to add it to your Star Wars order its not added automatically

The Dredd Badge that comes with Dredd Steelbook is a small Dredd Badge Keychain its completely different to what you get with Star Wars if you choose that option

Yeah whilst that is a strange tie-in, the Dredd Badge is a very nice replica indeed.

Yes, grateful thanks to all those that contacted Zavvi and The Hut regarding the progress of the keychain :joy:
Thanks in equal measure to the mods for not shifting this saga to the retailer thread

Well like most I've been waiting for UK Dredd steelbook to pop up then all of a sudden 3 come along at once. I got the mondo version at a really good price and WOW what a steelbook, while I awaited the UK version to arrive (from the Hut) I was hopeing it would be a keeper but sadly it's a big let down, (maybe HDN or zavvi could get more input for EIV releases). So now I await for the NOVA version infomation.

The very name "EIV" still sends shudders down the spine of anyone who collected DVDs...a la:

I have the Zavvi Dredd steelbook as I wanted the keychain to go with the badge - but the Mondo looks nicely designed, the Zavvi - a lazy and badly transferred cover straight from the blu-ray release.

Everyone keeps saying that the transfer on the UK disc is bad. Firstly, that's only true of the 2D - the 3D version on the disc is supposedly excellent. Additionally, the transfer of the UK disc is the same as the composite Lionsgate US release - there is no difference between them. I am unsure what has been released in Canada. I would say that the best option is to consider this a 3D release and get the European single 2D disc to go with it separately (€10 at Amazon.de).

Finally, as I have the spines visible on the shelf, the Mondo release with its redundant "steelbook" trade mark on the spine means it is a no go for me. Yuk.

The US disc has 7.1 audio whereas UK disc is 5.1.

Has anyone who ordered the zBox got their copy yet? Zavvi are screwing me around by saying as the zBox was shipped over 40 days ago they can't do anything
