I'm loosing interest in this release. I love the film, but I'm now asking myself why did I order this and now regretting it. It took me two days to even open the white box. I don't think even the MIA keyring could convince me otherwise.

I cancelled my initial order with Zavvi....then panicked and re ordered with the Hut...sorry I did it's one of the most disappointing steels I've ever bought...if it was 10 euro it might be acceptable but for 30+...shame on me lol

It goes without saying that if you are not happy with the steelbook and have yet to open it you can return it to the retailer or put it on the auction site where you will be able to get your money back or even a bit more.

Then of course there is the incoming bonus freebie which should make this steelbook purchase less unbearable

As I posted previously this keychain has a RRP of GBP 8.99 + 2.50 delivery (tot: GBP 11.49) but . . .
This keychain is not available to buy from Planet Replicas at the time of writing and when/if it is available again it will not be part of a Numbered Limited Edition of 2,500.
This keychain is not available on the auction site or anywhere else that I can see although obviously I can't check everywhere . . .

There is a different Dredd keychain 'In Stock' at Planet Replicas - can be shipped within ten days - in a gold plated finish with metal chain for the same price but IMO it ain't as smart as our freebie, not by a long shot !

Recently takes about 2/3 days to the U.K. - mine was posted on the 7/8 with estimated arrival 12/8 and arrived on Monday 10/8.

This Entertainment wave is really disappointing - finish scratches, no embossing, same inside art as outside. Entertainment have a bad rep as a distributor (remember their awful paintshop DVD covers?), and this is more of the same half-a**ed nonsense. Not a patch on the Japanese or Mondo Dredd, same with Lockout - the Japan release was much nicer.

"The Dredd 3D Steelbook is on special order for you with our supplier but at this time they are unable to give me a date for when they will have it back in stock. In the meantime our buyers are trying to obtain this for you from other suppliers."

The kind of answer I got from "The Hut" makes me think there is a problem and they don't have either the keychain or the steelbook.
I'd like to understand why they said it's a "special order" (maybe because of the keychain) !!!

I'm living in France, and 2 items was sent to me on 5th August, only received one, still missing Dredd.
Usually it takes 6 days for delivery.

Cops ZBOX available to buy @ GBP 19.99 WITHOUT the steelbook.
With the steelbook it was something like GBP 43 if I remember correctly.

Today is 6 working days after the item was posted to you (from the 5/8) so nothing to worry about IMO.
In my experience, when several items are dispatched on the same day, it's not unusual for these to arrive on different days.

BTW nobody has received the keychain yet and if you glance at the last few pages here you will see that people have been in touch with Zavvi / The Hut with the apparent result that the keychains are in the process of being sent out now or in the very near future.

According to Zavvi's site "Inside Europe, please allow 21 days from dispatch before reporting an item as missing"
(Inside the U.K., 14 days).

The steelbook sold out quickly at Zavvi but then popped up at The Hut (at a considerably cheaper price) on or around the 3rd July and stayed there for pre-order for about a month thereby giving people time to pre-order from The Hut if they missed a Zavvi pre-order and even giving those that ordered from Zavvi the opportunity to swap their orders !

The ZBOX @ GBP 19.99 is not unattractive IF it still includes that large Dredd badge - the same badge BTW which BY ITSELF Zavvi is retailing @ GBP 29.99 and as this particular badge is "ONLY AVAILABLE FROM ZAVVI" (according to Planet Replicas) the ZBOX looks like a damn fine purchase if you like that sort of thing even without the steelbook.

Looks like Zavvi have everyone by the short and curlies again so with the only option of returning it for a full refund if you're not happy.

Unless in the meantime some small miracle happens and they start shipping the keyrings seperately?

Am I nuts, or was there someone who posted a while back that the keyring is actually INSIDE the steelbook?
Meaning that- if you are a collector who doesn't open your steelbooks, you don't realise that you have the keyring- it is just inside the steelbook.
(Any confirmation on this would be appreciated!)
