and if it ships from channel island one has to pay customs here in Finland.

got miny today. no key chain of what ever it is ...
As your based in Finland which is EU Member State
Majority of your orders you got from Zavvi were sent from Jersey but you ordered from a company registered in the UK which is a EU Member State

You will notice on the white box or whatever packaging was used to ship your goods as your in a EU Country a Yellow sticker Community Goods consigned to a part of the Community where the provisions of Council Directive 77/388/EEC do not apply

That is why me as I'm based in Rep of Ireland and others who are from a EU Country when this Yellow Sticker is on a parcel you don't get hit for Vat Duty in your country as it states the provisions of Council Directive 77/388/EEC do not apply

@Bigman I received that exact reply from Zavvi on Tuesday 11-08-2015 and still nothing has arrived through the post yet :(

On the parcel it has a customs label CN22
Reason for the CN22 Customs label is items were shipped from outside of the European Union
But also has a yellow sticker that's to do with a parcel sent between European member countries
The parcel is a transaction between European Union Member states
Its complicated to explain but the reason for the yellow sticker is item was shipped from outside the EU Jersey Channel Islands but were ordered from within the EU
This yellow sticker is to show the goods sent is within the European Union as in
The Customer is based in a EU Country and goods ordered was from a EU country
Council Directive 77/388/EEC is to do with European Member Countries
If your not from a European Union Country this would not apply to you

Customers from a country outside the European Union then your countries customs and tax laws would apply on goods imported and treated as such for any customs/tax due in your country
The label on your parcel has a CN22 customs label and this is what the seller is meant to use when shipping goods that's been sent from a country outside the European Union to another country

so I do not have to pay customs, as I live in Finland 'but (items) were ordered from within the EU', but possible posted from JCH ?

You would not have any customs duty to pay as your in a European Union Country and ordered goods from another European Union Country but its possible that Vat might be asked for at some stage

? Have any your orders from Zavvi so far have you ever been hit for Vat payment when goods ordered were over €22.00
You ordered goods online within the EU but your order was shipped from outside of the EU

Goods ordered online between European Member States VAT is meant to be in the Price as in inclusive but Zavvi don't show any Vat amount paid with your invoice unless your from the UK

The problem is they ship the goods ordered from EU member Countries from the Channel Islands Jersey which is not considered part of the European Union

It is possible for customers from within the European Union to get hit for Vat but I have had hundreds of orders from Zavvi and a lot were over the value of €22.00 and not once was I asked to pay Vat on the goods delivered

I would be interested to see if Zavvi pass on the vat amount that's meant to be in the price with goods ordered online between EU Member States to UK revenue but I cant prove if they do when its customers from with the European Union except when its UK customers as they clearly show Vat amount for UK customers

Plenty to go on this thread until the key chain saga is resolved ;)

Yes, of course you speak the truth.
I should have put "LOL" after my comment or something similar :)
The keychain is why we are all still here when all's said and done ;)
Let's hope some members receive it TOMORROW
:joy: in anticipation

Don't know about the keychain but I've just checked my letterbox and to my surprise there was another Dredd steelbook from Zavvi in there free of charge. I'm guessing this is what I'm getting in lieu of a keychain. Funny because I only just sold my original one due to the disappointing crop on the front, can't seem to get rid of this ruddy thing. May be the universes way of telling me to be less picky and just make do with it. Especially seen as the Mondo's region locked.
