Ah ok, I looked a few pages back to see if anyone else had mentioned the tweet, but didn't go back as far as p10.

My own opinion based on everything I've heard and read is that there'll be no shortage in shops, and all those stores that normally carry the steelbooks will have this one too. The allocation for shops would have been reserved early in production, and won't be affected by the online sell-out.

I think The only shortages might be caused by frantic steelbook collectors wiping shelves clean of stock.

No worries buddy. I didn't mean it to sound like I was bragging or anything... was just my way of saying that I was aware of their tweet lol. Plus I'm sure there were others who hadn't gone back as far as page 10, and had therefore also missed my post. It never hurts to be reminded about something like that anyway.

I agree with you. I'm guessing there will be some stock of the Steelbook in most major stores, but I'm not so sure about the smaller ones. My local HMV stocked the True Grit steel, yet I never saw a single copy of the Cowboys & Aliens steel in there, and both of those went OOS fairly quickly online. But, like you say... maybe that was just a case of collector's quickly swiping them up.

Both of my copies have been dispatched! Along with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Mines not on it's way, but my order hasn't been Cancelled so it will prob ship tomoz and turn up Tuesday like my last few hmv pre orders

Yeah could be. Some of the smaller stores, like those in shopping malls, tend only to get a handful sometimes. I went into one of them on day of release of Cap America and saw just 5 or 6 copies, which were all gone the same day. People might have better luck finding 'Drive' in the major city centre stores.

My 2 also shipped, hoping for a Fri/Sat delivery (and no damages! )

ahh ok, was going to say if you had anything else in the same order you might of cancelled by accident as ive done it myself but if there was only 2 copies i dont know whats going on.

well customer services were very helpful, stating that it wasn't them that cancelled the order (blaming me ;p) and suggested that i visit the website to reorder the product...

i really couldn't be bothered to reply :facepalm
