'Item deleted - we are trying to obtain this item from alternate sources'

What other sources could they be? It's supposed to be a HMV exclusive isn't it? Maybe if they are planning on ordering more they could have confirmed it BEFORE they put the item back up for order. Annoyed a little.

HMV really cocked things up this time around as if there going to cancel orders then they need to state "item deleted".

I originally pre-ordered back in November. Once I read that a lot of peoples orders were already shipping, I checked the status online and it said something similar to "out of stock, searching other locations for the item." Checked again today and it said the item was deleted.

I'm at work real early and saw that it was posted back up on HMV's site so I figured there was no harm in trying again, so I did and it shipped within an hour. Can't wait!

i wonder why so many people are having problems, HMV must be a mess. having said that my tinker tailor and drive shipped within 5mins of each other at 8am wednesday? guess i was lucky.

They JUST emailed me back saying that there was a problem with my credit card on file, which makes zero sense since the second order still went through successfully. That doesn't explain the stocking problems either.

It's kinda s**** for those of us who pre-ordered when it was first announced and even more-so for those who did that weren't able to get a second order in.
