Dunno - I love the Predators steelie and that has a printed logo with no inside art. Lots of UK steels have been done that way, I would imagine, to keep the costs down for consumers.

Let's be honest, lots of collectors will keep it sealed, so they'll never see it unwrapped or naked. :boobies:

Oh well..no inside artwork! It's now considered a half stickerbook because all my stickerbook has no inside artwork I guess it's cheap for a reason. Oh well...

There is no such thing us a half stickerbook its a steelbook and a damm nice one too and look at the price £12.99
Do you then consider Predators and many others to be half stickerbooks

don't get me wrong, I buy all steelbook, stickers, g1, g3, etc.. even without inside artwork...but not having any inside artwork is a failed to me...it won't be a steelbook where I call it my holy grail status. it's just like having rating logo...I don't care, but if there are other options, then I rather go that path. Unfortunately, the french one has too many failed around it...

what we all need to be careful of, especially for the sake of new members or people that are new to the steelbook hobby - not to label things differently - despite our feelings about the edition.

so while we call something a "stickerbook" when it does indeed have a sticker that is put on a blank steelbook. That, I think, is appropriate for people that know the lingo, discussing a slang term for an edition that has actual printed artwork on the steel could be quite confusing.

I hope that makes sense.

did anyone have one arrive damaged? had 2 steels with noticeable scratches at the back.

My first Steelbook arrived this morning and it was Drive! Very nice indeed and although there's no inner artwork, I think the cover art more than makes up for it.
However I may not be off to a good start with my collection, as my copy of Drive has a single slash going across the centre of the spine!
I've read a few people mention this on other Steelbooks - is it something to be expected?
