confirmed the disc is plain blue - shame
and this is my fave of the 3 new Disney steels, but cant help think that al 3 look quite dull, especially when compared side by side to the ameray
the colours are lacking :(

Received all 3 disneys yesterday, I think zavvi/Disney did a great job bringing these steel's out:scat: my expectations were very low after the weird embossing on the toy story's and wondering if they'd have a cheap matte finish etc.. but I love all three:D I'm looking forward to the next ones to be released now, especially the glossed ones.. just hope it's gloss like nemo. :D

Slip says region BC but I'd like confirmation as well if this is locked like the Jungle Book release.

Actually it was released here in North America a couple of years ago.

Yeah. I would like confirmation as well. Fantasia said region b on the disc and slip and is region free.

Wish Zavvi would stop doing these big blocky blank slips...I mean...seriously? What's the appeal? At least print an image on it or something (Similar to the Korean Lion King steelie). I understand most people take them off or throw them away anyway to display, but I still like having the information available that's on the back of these slips...just not a fan of the hideous blank fronts/sides that take up almost half the artwork...it's not even a 1/4 slip...more like a 1/3. They did this with Planes and a few others too.

I too hope this is Region Free...Sick of this matte, ugly slipped, region locked BS....and this supposed "Limited Quantity" scheme that doesn't stick. They're slowly, but surely losing me. Wish Kimchi or BluFans would come out with a higher-quality Disney collection.

I'm not sure if they have any choice in regards to Region Free vs Region Locked. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

.

agreed
the small slip/j-card things they had on the likes of Goonies, TLM, TJB etc was perfect
