Somewhat bizarrely, he is also floating above the circus stand.

I think they were trying to pull it off like he was jumping for joy or something...they were probably like

"Do you think we could find a good picture or make one of the Mouse jumping in the air"

"Hmmmm.....that could take a while"

"I'm hungry"

"You know what just slap that front picture on the back and make him hover in the air a bit....should work"

Seriously I wished they took these steels more seriously, if Zavvi are so into the Steelbook business then they should be more in touch with the people who they are selling them for.

There should be a Feedback button on these Steelbooks in my opinion because least then when they are announced we can complain and theres more chance of them changing it since they announce them so early.

I am done with these Disney steels, sometimes they are ok, but most of the them I wish I didn't buy. I am still interested in the Pixar releases, but these just always seem cheap IMHO...

I have never liked that front cover. His ears look stupid. They are red underneath. The inside art shows his ears are pink underneath. I'd much prefer the JP amaray art...could be the reason I bought it. He looks cuter here too:

Original artowork, please! That said, that artwork looks better than the artwork on most of the other Disney dvd releases.

But I agree. What they did to that poor mouse is a damn disgrace

I think it looks great and has nice colors all around.

The only thing that is pretty lame is that the same image is used for front and back (as others have already mentioned). They really ought to change that because it will always be annoying.

This and Lady and the Tramp I don't even remember. Will most likely buy all three as Zavvi's Disney releases are pretty top notch! Minus the whole one disc/lack of special features. They'd sell even more copies printing a 10 cent disc... (Think of the potential sales Zavvi! ;)).

Very few (if any) Disney classics blu ray releases have included a separate special features disc. There is no need for them when all of that old content can easily fit on a single blu ray disc.

Well, they could always pack in 3D for the movies that have it + DVDs, like Finding Nemo (Viva FS release) or their myriad of other Pixar releases (the Disney cartoons might not have the extras, but what about the rest of their stock lineup?). Here's a Disney Classic with 2 BDs/special features: Jungle Book. I have no idea what's out there for the latest 3 releases, but I'm betting even if they did have the content for another disc they'd still only release one. I know Thor 2 is supposed to have a 3D + 2D copy so hopefully that's a step in the right direction.

A full slip (either regular or lenticular) would also be nice from them. But hey, people usually have pretty low standards so I guess the extra effort doesn't matter much.

Here's a great example on what could be done:

Lion King (3D + 2D Blu-ray SteelBook) [Taiwan]

And another multiple disc (including 3D) Disney classic...

The Little Mermaid (Three-Disc Diamond Edition) (Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD + Digital Copy + Music) (1989)

My point is that Zavvvi are not wizards. They can't make content and bonus discs exist where there is none. Dumbo, Peter Pan, Lady & The Tramp were all single blu ray disc releases along with all of the other early Disney titles that have not had a 3D conversion. The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast are the only ones that have been off of the top of my head (Pixar not inclusded). The Little Mermaid really should have included the 3D version. They could also include the DVD copy of the films but I personally would rather they not if there is any chance it would raise the price in the slightest.

Do you really feel the need to nitpick how these 3 releases don't warrant more than one disc? I don't understand white knighting as it helps no one but the people making $ off you.
