I know I was bashing this artwork, but imo it looks much better than the Peter Pan artwork. I like the simplicity compared to the 'all-stars' mockup style of Peter Pan (and Aladdin). And, to be fair, the original film posters are not very interesting (which of course doesn't mean there wasn't any good artwork for the film). That said, they've got to change Timothy on the back.

This steelbook is fantastic! I have preorder all Disney and Disney Pixar Steelbooks.
The internal artwork is nice but the very beautiful is exterior of steelbook. Very very beautiful.

Why does everyone keep saying "ultra low"? Is it to make fun of Zavvi when later on some will come back in stock (which will probably happen, it did even for From Dusk Till Dawn)?

The opening post says "lowest print run ever produced for Disney classic titles". That rules out Roger Rabbit (and its 3,000 print run I think), Aladdin had 4,000 copies, so it has to be slightly less imo. But don't 4,000 steelbooks of the same film necessarily have to be produced throughout the world (and I don't see any other country starting a collection like Zavvi) ? That's what I gathered from the Pain & Gain thread with Zavvi's exclusive limited to 1,000 copies, meaning the rest of the world would have the remaining 3,000 somehow.

Anyway, much like Fantasia with Mickey repeated on the back, I don't like what they're doing with Timothy. But the fact that the Zavvi press release specifically mentions "vibrant" artwork makes me think/hope the gloss machine will be hard at work this time.

"Touch wood" In the entire time I've bought from Zavvi I have never had a damaged product and all steels have arrived perfect :scat:

HEY! Get your stinkin' paws off my wood you damn dirty ape!

I have only had a couple show up damaged. Thankfully they were easily replaced by Zavvi but if it happens with this one I am afraid that won't be the case. Hopefully nothing happens.

Aladdin was 5,000 copies. Wreck it Ralph. 5,000.

Zavvi has not done any Disney classics at the lowest available 4,000 print run.

My bet is on 4,000. Anything less would be even better. Remember folks... many of the "grail" Futureshop steels from back in the day were 10,000 print run. Watchmen, Revenge, etc. And Iron Man 2 Target metalpak was 30,000 and numbered.

Yeah mate from reading peoples experiences when it comes to damaged products they seem to be good for some people and shockingly bad for others. Lets hope they have been wise enough to order some spares in case of problems.
