Found this online. Hard to tell the finish on the steelbook, but I suspect it may be glossy?
When in doubt say "It looks zero" (lol).
Very decent artwork bringing to mind the Dan McCarthy artwork Mondo poster . . .
. . . and very different to the other Mondo E.T. poster with artwork by Mike Mitchell released at around the same time . . .
. . . and sufficiently different, as a celebratory 35th Anniversary steelbook, to the previous 30th Anniversary E.T. steelbooks to warrant adding to the collection . . . at some point.
Previous lovely (but a bit samey) steelbook releases:-

What with a 4K UHD Amaray release coming in September this year for CLOSE ENCOUNTERS I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar release for E.T. . . . and maybe 4K steelbooks for both . . . possibly with the same 35th Anniversary artwork in the case of E.T.(?)

This has a Zero finish with spot gloss on ET himself, the ET lettering and also on the moon on the back.
The spine on mine looks a bit odd though, seems a bit blurry......

Already contacted zavvi for a refund, will see what happens. (I'm guessing the usual partial refund speel)
Yes, but If you are not satisfied with the partial refund, their second answer is replacement without questions
but I had always some scratch or dent, not sure what they will do about that spine, but it´s worth the shot.
Looks disappointing, I was thinking of pre-ordering it a while back but talked myself out of it lol, agreed @BluSteel2012 I'm sticking with the first release.
