when FS does not include the 3D when the movie had a 3D release, I pass. I wait for a steel that will include it. Worse comes to worse rather have the amaray that includes the 3D + 2D than a steel without the 3D.

Don't be ridiculous, you can pick up the 3D disc only for much less and then have a SteelBook + 3D.

It depends on the studio not the retailer. This is a Warner Bros. release so it will be region free

but if it has a 3D release and the steel doesn't contain it, what if I am not interested by the steel ?! That is my choice.

I agree. I avoid 3D as much as possible in the theater and the disk is useless to me.

for me if there is a 3D release of the movie, if the steel doesn't contain the 3D it's a NO GO UNLESS the steel is to die for, but rarely it is. usually when it's a 3D release we do find our friends Taiwan Korea japan releasing it.... even if most likely FS passes often on the 3D release ie: The desolation of smaug if I am not mistaken but Peter jackson's films always come out with an extended version so I don't buy first release anymore I was wasting money, more and more people wait for the extended version as our hobby is pricey and if we can save... why should I buy a movie that most certain will come out with 20 min of extra footage 3D and BD(read movie critics on Peter Jackson).... it's a wase of money unless you buy for the art of the steel...than that is fine if you invest in the first version because you love the steel that is really nice... but personally didn't like the steel of the desolation of smaug

I think the Captain America:Winter Soldier has been confirmed as 3D but not heard about Amazing Spider-man 2-would be cool if Godzilla & Edge of Tomorrow are region free & 3D-would save time,money & hassle!!!

I don't understand passing on a Steelbook because it does not contain a 3D disc. I think that over 15 of my 3D Steelbooks are mix and matched.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 FS will NOT include the 3D

you will have to check for other steels or the Amaray
