My local store only had 4 !!!!!
Had to go to 2 stores to secure my mini-GB!

I was a little concerned after I read Drum's message so I headed directly afterwards to my local Target. They only had 2 in the electronics section but another 9 up front in a display by the front cash.

All of them were in those hard plastic anti-theft devices. I almost had a heart attack when the clerk at the check out opened the outer hard plastic container and let the Steelbook drop to the counter from about 3 feet up but luckily it landed flat and doesn't appear to have been damaged.

Now I have to go exchange mine tomorrow, ding on top Under the j-card...

Managed to grab one this evening after calling the store in the morning when it opened and asking them to reserve one for me. When I got there at 5:45PM, they still had 7 on the self so I picked and chose the one I wanted. The guy at the cashier let me pull the steelbook out of the protective case myself when he wasn't able to, check it and then hand it to him to scan the price in. Perfect condition inside and out.

Nice addition to my growing collection.

Thanks Drum for the pics. I think they may have changed my mind about buying the expensive NM release. Now I have to find a good copy at my local store

Target has really done a poor job promoting this. This steelbook is hidden deep in the flyer and the ones I saw at a nearby store were tucked in with the standard blu-ray. No reference to it online. The associate had no idea what I was talking about. I was just curious to see it in person, it looks pretty nice, but I will pass and go with one of the Europe 3D steelbook editions.

I'm curious if that coupon is available in store.

When you purchase anything in store the cash will spit out a coupon for a random product..... Well about a month or so ago the coupon happened to be $2 off any DVD or Blu-Ray. Of course when I went to use the coupon it didn't work... had to get a supervisor to enter it in manually.
