This new take on Sherlock Holmes, which features a female Dr Watson, looks like it could be interesting. Like the recent BBC Holmes series, it is set in the present day, but this time in the US (New York?). I wonder how it will compare with the BBC version?

It airs on September 27th on CBS.

Is this a US remake of Sherlock or is it a different thing altogether?

I like Johnny Lee Miller, especially in Eli Stone (sad that went away, although the second season was all over the place) so I'm looking forward to this.

Hmm, completely flew under my radar. I never watch CBS though, that'll explain it. Any opinion on it, worth a watch?

I think this show is really good, and Jonny Lee Miller is great as Holmes IMO

Anyway.. this show is NOT as good as BBC Sherlock.. far from it
