The only problem with the booklet attached to the back and not put on the inside. Is that over time it will damage the back of the steel. Leaving a definite outline around the back where the book is placed......Best to open and move the book inside then put it in a protective sleeve / Bag....;)

Still think for the complete and beautifully designed package, the Digipack from Japan is the clear winner for this.....IMO :naughty:
 
Well said but doubt it will harm as the finishing is matte.

My 2D Steelbook of The Hobbit which is also matte and had the Film Cell attached to the card and under the paper slip, was damaged when I finally decided to open it last week....There was a clear outline right around the back of the steel where the Cell had been attached....So a matte finish makes NO difference my friend!! :p

I agree it will take longer than a gloss finish but it will still do some damage over time!

Maybe the outline is formed from stacking steelbooks on top each other. Storing them standing vertically might be a solution.
