Just crossing my fingers toes and everything else that the artwork stays the same it is a true thing of beauty .

Blind buy for me so looking forward to it I adored District 9 and top notch cast so looking forward to it:D.

What is base.com delivery like? I've ordered from there but not sure if I should cancel and order from amazon

Either way, I just ordered it with the discount code for £16.19 :)

Not sure if it's already been posted and also not sure if this will work with everyone, but hey, it's worth a shot!

10% code for base.com 101CD-BASE :)

It works,i also used it on worlds end & MOS.

The 101CD-BASE (& DVD-BASE) doesn't work for everyone and are linked to email addresses,.

They are codes that were sent out from Base.com to people who have in the past used either 101CD.com or DVD.CO.UK, both sites are owned by the same company that own Base.com because they are shutting those two websites down

Kinda annoyed they changed all their prices after I used mine the other day...could've got discount on Pacific Rim (2D amaray), Elysium and Nosferatu :( for only £12.60, £16.20 and £18. Plus could've got Halloween steelbook for £12.15 as they dropped the price. I paid £12.60. Really annoying!

Too bad about
the boring 1-on-1 fight scene.
Spoiled it for me, along with not enough Elysium footage. Still, it looked great, and I will buy it.

do not open spoiler tag if you still not watching the movie... :D
despite the fact that there're so many does-not-make-any-sense-scripts in the movie I still think this is quite good scifi film and I think one of the reasons is because we all loved District 9 so much, we all put our goal way up high... all I wanna say that I'm getting the steelbook anyway :D

just found that this is £18.49 on play.com, the seller being Zavvi Outlet, which is £1.50 less than on the Zavvi site itself. that makes about as much sense as most things Zavvi do!

Thanks. Just cancelled my original zavvi order which was over €22 and went for this which was €18.99. Every little helps!! :p

Is this Region Free?

I don't tend to trust what Zavvi reported (I purchased Starship troppers and it was Region Free even though Zavvi marked it as Region B)

Amazon.co.uk marks this as Region B.

Amazon.co.uk marks this as Region B.

I verified a few of my UK releases from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (Elysium is a Sony title), and they are all region-free releases (Total Recall, Django Unchained, The Evil Dead, Ghostbusters, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Zombieland, Black Hawk Down, etc).

It's very likely that Elysium will be region-free, as well. I'd never take an on-line retailer's region coding specification as gospel. Unfortunate, but in Europe they usually just go with "B" to be safe.
