Shot straight to HMV Oxford Street after filming - they are sold out and have no info on likelihood of being restocked

(Sorry if already posted - not had time to read the thread)

My dad looked in the Milton Keynes hmv and found none, I just hope there's at least one left in the York hmv my friend's gonna visit later, I don't want to have to pay £30+ on ebay ;-;

I was there at 8:50, they had 2 full boxes behind the counter and 5 unsealed copies in the Blu Ray section, is it normal for them to open that many copies, I was nervous for them sitting there with non collectors able to touch the bare steel :ohno:

Bagged me a copy of this just now! =] anyone from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK and surrounding areas, just letting you know there's still about 15 copies left there..

There's also a few copies of The Wolverine in 2 for £25 deal and my dad bagged the last Red2 for £9.99 (lucky him) lol

I failed to get one in my local branch, Stevenage, some kind soul went in and purchased all of them.
I went in lunch time so am well gutted.
I guess I will have to preorder next time:angry:

Really hope I don't end up regretting not getting a copy today? Will give HMV a ring to check stock levels before venturing out on my lunch break tomorrow and keep fingers (and toes) crossed!!

Initial thoughts were wrong, the finish on the UK is every bit as good as the US edition and then you have debossed front and back and inside art. No DVD or Digital copy like the US copy but steel for steel, sorry the UK is a winner.

Also, just noticed that the black on the UK edition is much deeper, US is almost grey in comparison. Pictures coming soon.

Just opened mine, several scratches on front under J card and the back looks like someone kicked it around a concrete floor. Scuffed, and scratched. :mad:

This is a pretty looking steel...but I might just hazard a chance and see if I can get a copy in store - not a movie I liked, but I can see the collectors appeal.

Wolverhampton have loads left at 17:00 and also have a few Wolverene at 2 for £25. I also got a Red 2 steel for £9:99 only copy they had and minty mint :)

The BACK is debossed. Embossing refers to an image being raised from the surface, which isn't the case here.

I know what embossing is but thanks for the lesson.
Judging by the comments from several people there is confusion about whether it is embossed or debossed but yes, you're correct it is debossed.
For me it was hard to tell from the pics.

This picture from the OP (thanks to Ricster) is the best one to show it:
