WTF the manager told me they were not getting any of these allocated in steel format so I joined the GB way back at the start of February.

Thats the 2nd time they have done this I asked about Red 2 and was told exactly the same then my brother txtd me to say he got his copy from there

I think anyone who really wanted this one would have gone and got it yesterday. It only sounds like a couple of stores have been cleared.

Not if you don't get the chance. I never even got a look at this one as it was cleaned out of the only 2 stores I can get to on release day. Honestly I just wish HMV could get their website up and running again, because for me these HMV steels are harder to get hold of than Kimchidvd or Blufans limited editions!

I called to Manchester Arndale HMV yesterday and there was only one out with a big security wire and tag around it, I had no cash but asked if that was all they had and the guy said he had loads behind the counter but had to move them cause someone filled a bag with them and walked out just after they opened

That's the exact same thing i got told when I went to pick up Captain Phillips steel. The thieving git would have had to run through the Arndale to get away. Not easy with a bag of steels!!

Definitely one of the biggest cons in the steelbook business. The same vulture(s) who possibly snagged every last remaining copy of Rush at my local. It's understandable to want to make a profit, but HMV should limit said sold copies to each customer like ES do. Four copies per person should suffice.

Don't even know why they bother teaching kids about sharing at school when it barely benefits you in real life.
