I've yet to watch this, but I loved Gyllenhaal in Prisoners. I need to check this out and see how it is.

You are right. Re-Animator is the first Capelight/Alive AG Steelbook without text on the back.
I did some research. Capelight announced via Facebook that future steelbooks will have a clean back.
Prisoners is UNIVERSAL.

Is the october release date the official one? Because it comes out June 24th in the US, I was hoping it wouldn't be that far away
Theatrical release in Germany: May 22nd

I preordered this before the artwork was known. I think I made the right choice. US doesn't even get a bluray for this so I'm most likely going to keep this order.
LOVED this film. Excellent film just as good if not better than last year's Prisoners. Can't wait to get this on UK BR, and be a plus if we got a steelbook edition (though it's a bit of a gamble whether we do or not).

I just ordered the standard US blu ray for now. I missed this in cinema and don't want to wait any longer to watch it. Also I only usually buy steelbooks with English text on so I'll probably wait to see if the UK gets one similar to this. Zavvi have had quite a few smaller releases recently like Under the Skin and Only Lovers Left Alive so it wouldn't surprise me if they got an exclusive.

I just watched Prisoners for the first time about a week ago and absolutely loved it! Most intense film I've seen in a long time.
I've not seen this one yet and understand it's different from Prisoners but I'm really looking forward to it. And the steelbook looks great imo.

I really like this film. No where near as intense as Prisoners but still pretty enthralling. The ending it brilliant. I've already got a nice space next to Prisoners reserved for this.
