I remember times as it was not only cut, FSK 18 and set on idex, it was even banned 1983 to 1993.
1993 the cut version has been released. And now

It IS nice. Best artwork for this movie so far (U.S. release in second)

But not coming from Germany personally, the title puts me off (no offence to anyone German)

Now all you guys need is your own German Evil Dead 2 to go with parts 1 and 3.

Seems like you're right, according to the label there will be a "normal" version with "original" PQ and one "adjusted to the usual standards of modern HD-TVs." The latter smells suspiciously like a euphemism for "we'll just DNR the living crap out of this film!"

What a lazy and uninspiring effort. No boss, no gloss and low res artworks. Maybe they were trying to simulate the vintage look. But for me it's just ugly. Never gonna pay € 22,99 for THAT.
Went for the awesome Mediabook (Cover A) instead for merely € 10 more for much better artwork, finish, goodies and the original version of the movie.
